Self-Care for Mama presented by Thea Mistry, owner of Amma Yoga, yoga instructor, birth doula & mama of two. Thea will be sharing strategies for taking care of yourself physically (and emotionally) while you are in the very demanding life phase of taking care of a baby. She’ll be talking about posture awareness and simple exercises that might feel good postpartum, as well as ideas for getting out of the house and creating your community of support. Blue Heron parents with babies up to 10 weeks old are invited to join us. Older siblings are welcome too. Please arrive between 9 and 9:30am. The presentation will start at approximately 9:45 am and is finished by 11am.
